We were lucky enough to be present with Jem and Sue on his first ever skiing holiday to Alpbach in Austria.  We were all suitably excited on arrival in the resort but a little disappointed with the lack of snow in the village on that first night. We were awoken at 6.30am the following morning by Jem knocking on our bedroom door whispering very loudly, "Ralphy, Ralphy, look out of the window, it's snowed"  We opened the door to see his excited face and the blanket of fresh snow that covered the village.  A magical moment spent with special friends.
